Born to a kind couple that fled the yet-to-be imploded country of the Philippines, Darwin Salmorin was raised in a tranquil and nurturing home in the North side of Chicago. Though influenced in his heart and soul by his parents, his mind was subjective to the ever-growing culture of 1980s cartoons. With the adventures of the Thundercats, the Masters of the Universe, and Transformers implanted into his cerebrum, Darwin sought other media, such as film, Japanese animation, and comic books. The growing passion to tell a story finally manifested within him, and finally found an outlet with his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Video/Animation Production. Darwin has a love for all forms of production, whether it is conception and pre-production, shooting, or video editing. To tell a story is his true fervor.
